Is there a downloadable guide or checklist available to help with planning your Disney vacation?

Hey Howdy Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!

Planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort can be super exciting with a touch of anxiety to go along with it. One of the best parts about Walt Disney World is the size. There are so many options to stay onsite at a Disney Resort hotel, 4-theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs entertainment and shopping district and so much more. This can be fun to plan but with so many options can be overwhelming on what to plan for and when. You've got a friend in me Jennifer to give you some tips to keep everything straight and plan your Magical vacation!

While the Walt Disney World Resort does have its My Disney Experience account to help navigate you through the process, you can find so many checklists online to print out and follow along with. If you do an internet search for "Disney World Vacation Planning Checklist", you can either type in "PDF" or look under the images section which will give you so many PDF options to print. Not all are created equally and not everyone plans the same way. Check out a few and the ones that seem to jive with your planning vibe would be the ones to go with.

One super helpful item Disney provides to help you keep everything straight is through your My Disney Experience account. Once you create an account, you can go to your page and walk through the steps of planning from there. You will see icons at the top that are more silhouettes until you click on them and book things such as your Disney Resort hotel accommodations and theme park tickets. You are provided with the major things that many Disney parkgoers book, but like anything, there is still so much to look into. You might find other options or ideas on other sites that provide checklists that may be helpful to walk through and physically check them off as they are booked.

The ultimate checklist for planning your vacation would come with a specialized Disney Vacation Planner. You can do an internet search for so many options which all come at no extra cost to you. Disney has a system to "earmark" travel professionals that go above and beyond with their planning skills so you know which companies are recognized by Disney to provide a smooth planning process. These planners are experts in booking vacations and will typically have a full checklist for you on things to keep in mind. The best part is they can do the heavy lifting for planning while you enjoy the fun! Oh and did I mention they offer their services at no extra cost?

While so many vacations share common themes of quintessential Disney experiences, so many others come with very unique experiences. I hope you enjoy the process of planning and researching your upcoming vacation. Don't forget about your newfound Ohana to help you along the way with any questions you may have.

    To Infinity and Beyond,

    Nick
