    Can I downgrade a pass I just bought?

    Hello Kelly and welcome to planDisney!  Thank you so much for bringing your important question about your Magic Key Pass to us.  

    Congratulations on becoming a Magic Key Holder!  I'm sure you are so excited to be able to enjoy the magic of the Disneyland Resort year-round!  You are currently not able to downgrade your Magic Key Pass if you just purchased it, but there may be an opportunity to switch to a different Magic Key Pass type during your renewal window.  As soon as you're within your 30-day window before your current Magic Key pass expires, you are able to upgrade or downgrade your Magic Key Pass, as long as there is availability for other Magic Key Passes.  Once you begin the renewal process, you'll be able to see the Magic Key Passes that are currently available for renewal for you to explore.  

    I hope you're able to take advantage of all of the wonderful Magic Key Holder discounts, especially the discounts on some of my favorite dining locations at both theme parks as well as the Downtown Disney District!  If I could use a discount on a Banyan Beef Skewer at Bengal Barbecue at Disneyland Park every day, I'd be their best customer!  I also recommend following the official Disneyland Resort Magic Key Holder Instagram account for the latest news and happenings for Magic Key Holders.
