I am going to be down the 1st week of February. what are my best options for being able to watch the super bowl?

Hi there, Cameron! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope you’re excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World next month! Living in a house full of boys, I completely understand wanting to catch the big game while away from home. I know my guys wouldn’t have it any other way!

There are many ways and locations for you to enjoy the Super Bowl while visiting the Disney Parks. If you’d like to soak up the excitement of watching the game surrounded by other sports fans, you’re in for a treat! My expert football-loving sources tell me that the likely best choice for watching the big game is the ESPN club at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The club has almost 100 TVs (including in the bathrooms, reportedly!) and of course great food, drinks and location! Check with the club for special events that may be occurring on Super Bowl Sunday! If they choose not to join you, your family would easily be able to walk (to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios) or board a ferryboat (to Disney’s Hollywood Studios) steps away from where you will be watching the game!  This venue is not to be mistaken with the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill at the  ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which is another great option. If you’re a fan of a more tranquil experience, feel free to enjoy the game from your Disney Resort Hotel room, or even from the bar/lounge at your hotel!

Cameron, there should be no shortage of potential ways to enjoy the big game while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! Some of the biggest sports fans in my family also asked me to recommend to you a tablet or other mobile device that can be used to connect to the complimentary high-speed internet access available at many locations on property! Don’t forget that backup battery!

May your vacation be truly magical and full of all your favorite things, Cameron, and enjoy the game!

    See ya real soon,
    Clara
