Hi! Will be going down to WDW in the fall, staying on-site and will be needing to use a mobility scooter for the first time. Will be doing a split stay between 2 Resorts and was wondering at night where do I park the scooter for recharging at the resort

Hey there Michael and welcome back to planDisney!

The Walt Disney World Resort is a sprawling landscape with adventure waiting at every turn. I know using a mobility scooter for the first time can make it feel like a whole new world. Not to worry, let's make sure your magic carpet is charged and ready for action!

First things first if you don't personally own a scooter, renting one in Orlando is super easy! My mom used Buena Vista Scooter Rentals and they delivered her scooter to us at Disney's Riviera Resort and taught us how to use it right in the lobby.

Now you have 2 options for charging your scooter. You can absolutely opt to keep it in your room with just a bit of Room Tetris to figure out which placement is best for you. A wonderful Mousekeeping Cast Member changed the game, however, when she told us we could charge the scooter overnight in the hallway outside our room! We were so grateful to have the extra space in our Tower Studio.

Michael, thanks for stopping by planDisney. Zooming through the Walt Disney World Resort should be a breeze!

    Happy planning!

    Taylor
