Welcome to planDisney!

I am delighted to see you planning a trip with the grand children and I am super happy to see you asking about our Disney Resorts Collection. The good news is that Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels have access to Early Theme Park Entry while Guests staying at Disney's deluxe and deluxe villa resorts also have access to Extended Evening Hours. If you would like to enjoy both additional times, you will need to reserve a deluxe or deluxe villa resort.

My family prefers deluxe and deluxe villa resorts with access to Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. Take a look at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resorts both have walking paths to Magic Kingdom. We also stayed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort this summer and absolutely loved the Stormalong Bay pool area that is shared between Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios although the walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios takes longer.

Once you decide on your travel dates, do some comparison pricing of vacation packages. After booking a vacation package, you will need to link that package in your My Disney Experience account. If you do not have an account, create one. Once you have a vacation package confirmation number, log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and then click on Add More Plans. Then select Link Reservations and Purchases.

When you have your vacation package linked in My Disney Experience, you can make Disney Park Pass system reservations for everyone in your party. Just be sure that your grand children have profiles in your My Family & Friends List. You can create managed profiles for them. Go to your My Family & Friends List and click on Add a Guest. As long as you have managed profiles for them in your account, you can make park pass reservations for them and you can include them on your advanced dining reservations.

Richard, make note of your advanced dining reservation window on your calendar and make those reservations as soon as that window opens. I always start at 5:45 a.m. Given the ages of your grand children, I would try breakfast at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. It's my family's favorite character meal! And, you have to try lunch at Space 220 Restaurant. It is out of this world!
