Hi there! We will be down there from May 22- May 28. My daughter is obsessed with Moana, and by obsessed I mean she wants a wig to go with her costume! I was reading that she is no longer doing meet and greats. Is she no longer at Disney?

    Hello, Amanda,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Isn't Moana such an incredible character?  I love her free spirit and drive.  It's that same free spirit and love of the sea that has called to her again, so I'm sorry to share that she has moved on.  You never know, however, if she will be called back to Walt Disney World, so I'd check the Disney Parks Blog for news and updates.

While I realize it isn't Moana, there is a chance to meet Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana for breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort as well as many other Character Experiences throughout Walt Disney World who are also a lot of fun.  Your daughter may end up coming home with a new favorite character!

Meanwhile, you should be able to locate merchandise for your daughter if she'd like to do a bit of Moana-themed shopping.  There are coloring books, clothes, play sets, plushes, and jewelry for sale throughout Walt Disney World (items subject to change, though).

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
