When do they take down the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. We are there Jan 3-10, will we see it?

    Hi there, Amie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming vacation!  I cannot think of a better way to kick off the new decade than at Walt Disney World Resort!!  How fun and memorable that will be!

The Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is absolutely amazing and one of my favorite things to see during the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort.  Unfortunately, I am sorry to say that the Gingerbread House is set to be disassembled on January 1, 2020, so it will not be on display when you arrive.  While that won’t be on display, there is still plenty of beautiful things to see and admire at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, so if you are not staying there, I still recommend stopping by at some point during your vacation!  So, grab the monorail and head there for a quick visit – or perhaps a meal at 1900 Park Fare, the home of one of my favorite character dining experiences…or an elegant and fine dining experience at Victoria & Albert’s (which is still on my bucket list…one day)!

I wish you a magical and memorable vacation, Amie!  Have the BEST time!
