I will be down during the holidays 12/22 to 1/2 and am trying to find something family oriented to do on New Years Eve, I have a 24, 17, 16 , and 12 yr old. What does disney have celebrate New Years Eve?

    Hi Katherine!

I think spending the day at Epcot to view the special New Year's version of IllumiNations, or at Disney's Hollywood Studios for their extra special fireworks would be a great idea!  Both of those shows are a rare sight, and great fun for the entire family!

Keep in mind that the parks will be very full on New Year's Eve, so make sure you pack your patience, and arrive early, because park hopping or re-entry into a park may not be an option.

If you choose Epcot, I'd do a World Showcase dinner to help ring in the new year--stopping at each country for a different 'course' and sharing plates with the family.  A really great way to ring in the New Year!

    Have a magical vacation!
