We're going down to Disney World in 26 days. Is is possible to buy stuff from Disney's online store and have it waiting for us in our resort room? We'd like to surprise the kids with a little something and found the perfect stuff in the store.

Unfortunately, Steve it isn't possible to have anything waiting for you in your resort room upon checking in.  If it were me, I'd probably buy the items you've chosen and have them shipped directly to you.  Once you've checked into your room, stay behind for a minute or two while the rest of the family heads out for the day or dinner or whatever the case may be.  Arrange your special gifts so that your children will find them upon returning to the room.  I did something similar during our first family trip years ago, only we left out small trinkets each night of our trip.  My reasons for doing so were two-fold; first, it gave the kids something to look forward to each night and second it saved us a bundle on souvenirs!  I hope that helps.

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
