Hi Suzanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Consider this your official pep talk. You can do this!
With little ones, my first suggestion is to review the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones Guide. And, plan for naps/rest. On our girls' first trip, we went back to the resort hotel every day for a nap before dinner. The adults needed the rest as much as the little ones. Even though our girls are older now, we still go back to the resort in the afternoon to rest and/or go to the pool.
Bus transportation times from the resort hotels to the parks differs depending on the location of your resort hotel. We use the "Get Directions" feature on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to see directions, transit options and estimated transit times between locations. When we stay at Disney's Contemporary resort, for example, it takes us no more than 10 minutes to walk to Magic Kingdom and no more than 15-20 minutes to get to Epcot using the monorail. When I stayed at Disney's Pop Century resort, however, it took about 45 minutes to get from the resort hotel to Magic Kingdom.
Suzanne, as you consider other helpful times, check the
Park Hours and pay attention to the
Extra Magic Hours for each park during the time of your visit. Your 2-year old might love the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party, so check the daily schedule and find a spot to dance! Although the times might be too late, check the fireworks schedule for each park as well. The Happily Ever After show is AMAZING!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
