When do they take down the Christmas decorations at the parks? We want to go first week of Dec but make have to postpone until early January. My daughters (4&2) first trip and would like them to see the decorations.

    Hi Suzann,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I had the chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort just last January during Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (which usually takes place during the first weekend in January), and I can confirm that the Christmas decorations were still up in all of the Theme Parks during that time. I absolutely loved seeing Cinderella Castle lit up for the Holidays and I’m sure your daughters will love seeing it as well.

Please remember that there is no schedule for when the Christmas decorations will get taken down at Walt Disney World Resort. To maximize your chances of seeing them, be sure to visit as early in January as possible!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
