    Hi Doug, You suggested Gaston's Tavern for lunch. On researching all I could find out is that they serve "Pork Shank" Do you know what that is and what else they have? Any idea the set up there? Are there tables? We always love trying new places

    You are right, in that there are not a lot of options there. But I think it is a great place for a lighter lunch, where you can get a few items to share, as well as take in the exceptionally rich theming of the restaurant.

    What we like to do is get just one of the pork shanks, and share it. We are big hummus fans, so we get a couple of those too, and finish it all of with some fruit.

    There is some limited outdoor seating, but it gets used up rather quickly. The two indoor seating areas are more fun, being that you are in his tavern, but they are not much larger, offering only a couple dozen smaller tables.  

    So it doesn't have a ton of options, but sometimes those are the best places. We are equally big fans of Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, where we can sit outside and share a savory waffle, then a sweet one, and feel like we got a good meal without overeating.
