Linda,
Thanks again for asking me a question at planDisney!
Since the need for Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system will go away in early 2024, your question as to how that impacts
Disability Access Service (DAS) ride selection is a timely, and good one!
While Disney has not released any official word on this, my assumption is that they will revert to the previous way of proceeding. By that, you would simply determine which park you anticipate going to on any given day and select attractions at that park. This could complicate things if you wanted to change parks as your dates approach, but no more than it would have now with park reservations.
I chatted this past weekend with many of my planDisney panel pals about this very question from you, and they agreed that you simply figure out what park you plan to go to each day and pick your rides from that park’s options.
BONUS TIPNow if my memory serves me right, you are headed soon to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Since I was at Walt Disney World last week, and we both are headed to this majestic resort on upcoming vacations, I did a bit of reconnaissance work! While most of what I spoke of in the main lobby remains as described, I can tell you that the external scaffolding on the main building was significantly reduced! There were still a few areas with the work continuing, but it really had a wonderful atmosphere, and it made me feel much better about my upcoming stay!
Please
keep those questions coming!
Have a Magical Vacation!
