Hi Doug! Leaving in 5 days! I'm second guessing my plans for our first night. We arrive MCO@1:21, staying at ASMus, using ME transportation. We have ADR @ Crystal Palace for 5:45. Is that cutting it too close? Thanks so much!

I really don't think that you would be cutting it too close. Let's revisit the times, and I will bake in longer times than I have experienced, for safety's sake.

    • Off plane at 1:45
    • Checking in at Magical Express at 2:00
    • Bus loads and leaves by 2:30
    • Resort arrival by 3:30
    • Check in done by 4:00
    • Wait for bus to the Magic Kingdom until 4:30
    • Trip to the Magic Kingdom ends at 5:00
    • Walking from the bus depot, through the park entry, then down Main Street gets you to Crystal Palace by 5:30
I really think most of these times will, in reality, be shorter.

One big time saving pointer. Do the online check-in. Everything will be ready for you, and you check in at the resort in a fraction of the time. It also means you can literally arrive at the resort, get your packet, and then leave immediately.

Finally, if you complete resort check-in, and you think you might be close on time, take a cab. I prefer the free alternative, but getting to dinner on time will start your vacation off on the right note!

    Have a magical vacation!
