Hi, Shannon! Hope you don't mind that I am answering your question - Doug is away this weekend, and I didn't want your question going unanswered! There are restaurants in Downtown Disney that are included in the Disney Dining Package.
One of my favorites is Wolfgang Puck Express. This is actually a counter service restaurant that has great pizza, salads, and pasta. There are also good choices for the kids, including the kid-staple food: chicken fingers! Definitely give this one a try.
Other restaurants that you can try in Downtown Disney: For Quick Service try Earl of Sandwich or Cookes of Dublin. For Table Service, there is Raglan Road or Planet Hollywood. HERE. I suggest printing out this document and keep it with you. It details the dining plan and the list has a key that lets you know if a restaurant is table service, if it is a signature restaurant, character dining, etc. I refer to my copy all the time.
