Hi Doug. I forgot to mention we are staying off site and have base tickets for Nov 23-30. I am really worried I picked the wrong time to go b/c of extra expenses, hence my question for what is NOT included in admission price.

Thanks again. To follow on my last answer, let's chat about your time of year, and what is included with admission.

Yes, you are going at a busy time. But we all go when we can. And with how Disney has improved not just the parks, as well as all of the Walt Disney World property, the time you spend in lines is much better than it was back in my childhood. Don't let it bother you. You will still have a great time, as long as you use FASTPASS, plan what you want to do, and relax! You also HAVE to have Advanced Dining Reservations for any table service meals at that time.

But what do you get for your ticket? Obviously with the base tickets you get one park per day. It can be any park on any day, but just the one. But when it comes to attractions and shows pretty much everything is included. There is a shooting range in the Magic Kingdom where you have to pump some quarters to use it. But otherwise all the rides and entertainment are all in there. What you need to budget for is food and beverages, souvenirs and any other shopping that you may do, and any extras that you may want to do. Examples of these extras would be Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Pirate's League appointments. Another important one at your time of visit are the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights that are going on during your stay.

What you really should do is send me another question with any activities that you think might NOT be included, and I can confirm if they do or do not.

    Have a magical vacation!
