I have some doubts about Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage: as it is already pre-paid, do I still need park tickets to attend it, or can I relax at the resort that day and just see the fireworks at night? and what happens in case of bad weather? Thanks!

    Ahoy there Lilian,

Put those doubts to rest - the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is awesome!  The adventure begins at the Contemporary Resort so no theme park admission is required.  You can relax at your resort all day and report to the Contemporary at your designated departure time.

Your journey begins 1 hour & 15 minutes before Wishes (this becomes "Summer Nightastic!" on June 6th) and lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The adventure begins at the Contemporary Resort. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will greet you and your shipmates but they do not sail with you. You'll be treated to some pirate grub and grog (A.K.A - yummy snacks and non-alcoholic beverages) by a motley crew before boarding your sea worthy vessel and set sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Your pirate host will keep you entertained with Disney trivia, songs and tales of the sea until the fireworks begin. If you are lucky, you'll also catch a close-up view of the Electrical Water Pageant that sails on select evenings.

The view of Cinderella Castle and the fireworks is incredible from the boat and an added bonus is that they aren't as loud.  Following the fireworks, your pirate host will entertain you with the tale of Peter Pan and more trivia questions as you sail back to port at the Contemporary.  The adventure concludes with a visit from a very special guest once you dock.  I won't give it away but its not Jack Sparrow.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy if you decide to bail but I'm one of those that wants to experience everything in the "world" once so I'd go if I were you.  If the voyage is cancelled due to inclement weather, they will refund the full amount to your credit card.  You would have to call and book for another available time.

Wishing you magical memories and big adventures on the high seas :-)
