Welcome to planDisney, Cecilia!
Or should I call you Ms. Incredible!? Wow, you're traveling to Walt Disney World by yourself with two young kids! That's going to require a superpower level of patience and energy (and caffeine!). Well done, to you. I'm sure you'll give your kiddos a truly wonderful time.
The
Disney Skyliner is my favorite way to travel to the theme parks. It's so efficient and the views are fantastic.
You've asked a great question, Cecilia. The doorways into the gondolas are 30" in width, allowing single strollers and double strollers that are front to back (not side-by-side) to enter and stay open. However, side-by-side double strollers must be folded prior to boarding for the safety of Guests. Depending on the type of double stroller you have, I realize that might not be the answer you wanted to hear, Cecilia. We own a side-by-side double stroller and, therefore, we'll have to go through the inconvenience of folding and unfolding when we visit this Spring. Here's an idea: If you feel like you might struggle, ask a Cast Member to give you a hand. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to collapse your stroller if your hands are full with the kids. Don't be afraid to ask for help! Even superheroes need a sidekick for the big battles.
If you're planning on taking the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT, your Mouseketeers will love attractions such as
Frozen Ever After,
Journey Into Imagination With Figment,
The Seas With Nemo & Friends, and
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Also, I'm not sure how old your kids are, but
Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure is a new scavenger hunt-style game that you can access through the
Play Disney Parks mobile app. This might give the kids something fun to do as you travel around World Showcase.
I hope that's helpful, Cecilia. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
