Hi there, Silvia, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plans their next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Yes, you are welcome to bring a double stroller into both theme parks, as long as it fits within the
new stroller guidelines. So, according to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, your stroller needs to be no larger than 31” wide by 52” long. The good news is that most single and double strollers will fit within these new guidelines – my double-wide stroller fits just fine. Also, the Rules were recently updated to clarify that stroller wagons and wagons are not permitted at the Disneyland Resort.
At the security checkpoint, you may be asked to roll your stroller into one of the boxes marked, "Check your stroller size here" in blue lettering. If your double stroller doesn’t fit within these guidelines, you can rent a stroller from the Resort for a daily fee.
Stroller rentals are available near the entrance of Disneyland Park, adjacent to the Kennel. Choose from a jogging-style single stroller, or a tandem double stroller. The front seat of the double stroller reclines, and has a canopy and additional storage underneath.
If you’re visiting the parks with little Mouseketeers, I recommend getting familiar with the
Baby Care Centers, available in both
Disneyland Park (at the end of Main Street, U.S.A.) and in
Disney California Adventure Park (on Pacific Wharf). There, you can change, nurse, and feed babies or toddlers, or simply take a break. My children love getting a special Mickey Mouse sticker on the way out of the Baby Care Centers for a job well done!
Wishing you a day filled with Disney magic and fun!
