Will a double stroller (the long kind, not wide) fit onto the shuttle that takes you from the resort to the parks? The lady I talked to said if it folds up out of the isle it can. No stroller will go completely out of the isle...ideas?

    Hi Janie!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip with your family to "The Happiest Place on Earth"!

I have taken quite an assortment of different strollers to Walt Disney World over the years and that has included the tandem style double stroller.  I can attest that all strollers do fit onto the Disney bus transportation system, although it can be a bit crowded with the larger ones.  The Disney buses, which transport guests inside the Walt Disney World resort, aren't configured like school buses.  The guests who are seated sit on the perimeter of the bus facing inward.  This allows for the transportation of bulky items like bags and strollers.

I suggest to have a plan before you load/unload onto the bus.  Hopefully you are travelling with an adult companion as this does make things much easier.  One adult should take the children (and bags) while the other adult takes the stroller for loading and unloading.  Be prepared to sit or stand in different areas of the bus.  Typically my husband takes the stroller (once I fold it for him hee hee) and stands with it while I sit with the children and the bags.

Have a MAGICAL trip Janie!  Please write back if you have any more questions.  We love to help here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Blessings,
