Hi Jessica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to help answer this question! I have so many incredible memories at the
Walt Disney World Railroad. There is something about a train that just gets kids so excited. Imagine walking up to the train station with your kids and hearing the sound of the whistle in the distance. Your kids begin to jump up and down with anticipation. Next thing you know you can see the train coming down the tracks, the whistle blows again, and the train lets out a big puff of smoke. It is at this point that my kids are usually squealing with excitement!
I have great news! If you fold your double stroller it will indeed fit on the train! We usually take up a whole row when we travel with our double stroller. I usually load our family first, and then the stroller in last, just so I don’t have to push the stroller down to the other side of the seat. There are also some rows that have a double bench seats that face each other. These areas afford some extra room for the stroller. The trains are scheduled to arrive at each depot station approximately every 4-10 minutes so it is never too long of a wait in between trains.
I am so happy that you and your family will be able to enjoy one of my absolute favorite attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort! Make sure to really have so much fun watching your kids riding the railroad!
