Celebrating Christmas at Walt Disney World is such a treat as everything is more magical with all the holiday decorations. To help with your plans, I'd like to first suggest the
Candlelight Processional at Epcot. It is such a lovely way to hear the Christmas Story along with a beautiful celebration of traditional Christmas music. This event also has dinner packages, so you can dine at nearly all of the restaurants at Epcot. However, the information for this year has not been shared yet (they went on sale the first part of July last year). The Disney Parks Blog will have updates.
My favorite place to dine on Christmas Day is
Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The resort just epitomizes the holidays for me, and the holiday decorations are everything I could wish for and more. Similarly, the signature dining options at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are some other restaurants I'd recommend. This resort captures the Victorian charm of the holidays and even has a life-size gingerbread house in the lobby. All the restaurants here are lovely and elegant for a special day. If you'd like to be more adventurous,
Jiko-The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has African cuisine, and is truly delicious. If you'd prefer more traditional offerings, the
Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom offers roast turkey and other holiday sides year-round.
All of these dining options will book quickly, so I would encourage you to make your reservations as soon as the reservation window opens.
