Is Dora the Explorer considered a Disney character? If so, where can we meet her? We will be visiting in late March 26 to April 2, 2009 and we will not have park hopper tickets.

Melanie, I know it can be difficult keeping track of our children's favorite characters and where to find them.  Unfortunately, Dora is not a Disney character and cannot be found in Walt Disney World.

Characters from Playhouse Disney television shows can be found at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! provides preschoolers a chance to sing and play along with Disney shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, and Little Einsteins.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
