Hi Rosemary,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to respond to this question!
First, I suggest that you review the
Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort information. Decide where you would like your cake delivered. Then, call 407-827-2253 to speak to a cake specialist. Just note that the automated call system asks you to select the delivery location for the cake and then you can connect with a cake specialist.
The Mickey Mouse Celebration cake is available in chocolate and white chocolate and serves up to six people but it sounds like that might be a little too much for your party. This cake is super cute and yummy, so I might just order this one and have a little extra left over. Or, you could also consider ordering a custom cake. If you do order a custom cake, do so at least 72 hours in advance. Finally, consider the Celebrate Today cake for parties of five or less. It is available in chocolate or vanilla.
Since you are celebrating a birthday, I do hope you have considered ordering a custom gift through
Disney Floral & Gifts. We have ordered princess balloons for our girls and they adored them. We often celebrate my husband's birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. On our last visit, he received a special phone call from Goofy and special cards signed by the characters at some of the restaurants we visited. On that same visit, the girls and I also did Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room and loved it.
Rosemary, be sure to note the birthday celebration on your dining reservations. Most important, slow down and cherish the moment. What matters most is spending time together!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
