Hi Anthony,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great vacation planning question. As the self-proclaimed vacation and budget planner for my family, I can completely relate to your question! It seems as if I'm always dreaming about our next "Magical Adventure", which means I'm always saving and budgeting for a
Walt Disney World vacation!
Sometimes I just go ahead and make my best guess about our travel dates and book our vacation package reservation and then monitor if we need to
modify Disney vacation reservation because my dates need to be adjusted. After my vacation package is booked, I simply
call or make payments online for my Disney vacation package. I always set a reminder on my phone calendar to ensure that I have our vacation package paid off at least 30 days prior to check in. Occasionally I will have a Disney Resort hotel room only reservation, and in those instances the remainder is due at time of check in.
Another method for saving up for your Walt Disney World vacation is to purchase
Disney Gift Cards. You can even combine multiple gift cards into one card, with a maximum of $1000 at the time of this writing. I have been known to add Disney Gift Cards to my birthday and Christmas wish list! Disney Gift Cards can be used in practically almost everything Disney, and definitely at the Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning Anthony. Have a Magical time planning your next adventure, and please stop by again as you continue your journey. We are always happy to help you plan all the details of your Walt Disney World vacation!
