Bienvenue, Amy!
Thanks for bringing your question to us at
planDisney as you prepare to say
bonjour to Disneyland Paris!
I just returned from a magical vacation myself, where I marveled at
Disney Tales of Magic three times. It truly is an incredible display of technology, pixie dust, and beloved Disney stories, so I completely understand your desire to prioritize securing a clear view during your vacation.
Unfortunately, only those who booked a vacation package directly through Disneyland Paris are able to
purchase reserved viewing more than 7 days in advance. As you mentioned, this particular booking is incredibly popular and regularly sells out. Because of this, I would suggest checking availability as soon as your booking window opens. If you don't initially see the option to book, I encourage checking back periodically as your vacation approaches because availability can change as fellow Guests change their plans.
Even if you are unable to secure a spot in the reserved viewing area,
Hakuna Matata! You'll still be able to enjoy the show; you'll just need to settle in on Main Street, U.S.A. a bit earlier. I recommend grabbing a snack (bonus points if it is Mickey-shaped) to pass the time and finding a clear view of Sleeping Beauty Castle no less than 30 minutes in advance for groups of 2 or 3 and 45 minutes for larger parties.
Oh, and I'd love to share one more tip before I bid you
adieu. Since you'll be visiting during Disney Enchanted Christmas, be sure to check out
this feature highlighting the celebration of the Disney Parks Blog. It will be a great tool for making sure you don't miss any magical must-dos!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
