We don't have much time! 4, 6 and 9 year olds in Jan, and only 5 days, including arrival day. Should we skip Epcot for the pool at the resort on our arrival day, or go for a half day? (We want 2 days at MK, 1 day at AK, 1 day at DHS). Thanks!

Hello Barb and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  From my personal experience, travel days are always a bit exhausting, and racing off to a park the moment you arrive can be a bit trying for younger children.  If you have checked the rides and attractions at Epcot and don't really feel that your kids would be missing too much,  I would vote for a pool day at the resort and maybe head to Downtown Disney in the evening.  We have always done this with our family and find that it's an excellent start to our vacation - checking out the resort, relaxing after travelling and then getting that "Disney Feel" going by visiting Downtown Disney.  This way, everyone will be fresh and ready to hit the ground running the next day when you head to the park.

I hope this helps you, and please don't hesitate to come back to the Moms Panel to ask me any other questions you have.  Have a magical day!
