Welcome to planDisney, Nichole!
I’m so happy to see that you’re planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth here in the near future. Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as there are many exciting things happening around Disney World during this time of the year. Halloween, EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and so much more is on the horizon — you’ll want to take full advantage of everything you can while you are visiting!
I totally understand wanting some flexibility with your travel dates, Nichole. You can register for
Disability Access Service up to 60 days before your trip to Disney World. These are the steps from the DAS official page that are required before your video call with a Cast Member at the time of writing this: “Sign in to the Walt Disney World website or your My Disney Experience, link valid theme park admission for each member of your party, ensure that the Guest who is requesting to use DAS is present at the time of registration via live video chat.”
Current DAS requirements state that you will need valid theme park admission to get DAS for your party, Nichole. I recommend that you schedule your DAS video chat right after you purchase your theme park tickets if it is within that 60 day window. If you have troubles doing so before you arrive at Disney World, I recommend going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks upon arrival to chat with them about your options.
I hope that you have a lovely visit, Nichole, and also hope that your
registration with DAS goes seamlessly for you and your daughter. If you have additional questions, we hope to hear from you again at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Allyn
