Hi Anne,
Welcome to planDisney. I hope you enjoyed a picture-perfect vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. "Picture-perfect" certainly comes in many forms. Some of my all-time favorite vacation shots are of my fearful toddler on Frozen Ever After and zombie poses on Haunted Mansion. Thanks to
Disney PhotoPass, these attraction shots merge seamlessly with shots from my personal camera in our Disney scrapbook. Let's work on finding your magical memories.
Sometimes Disney PhotoPass pictures, including attraction photos, get lost in the wilderness or mislinked in your Disney PhotoPass account. Have no fear,
technical services is here! Before reporting your missing photo(s), make sure to collect all of the necessary data:
1. The date the missing photos were taken (only photos taken during the past 45 days can be recovered)
2. Where the photos were taken (specific theme park, Disney Springs, or Walt Disney World Resort Hotel)
3. The time the photos were taken (I find checking the timestamp on photos in my phone is helpful with this information)
4. The approximate number of missing photos (this will be '1 to 3' for each attraction photo)
5. Disney Characters in the photos (optional)
6. Photo details. Be as specific as you can in the text box. Include what each Guest in the picture looks like, what they were wearing, and the ride configuration (who was sitting next to who.) There's even a place to attach a photo. Try to include a photo from the same day as the missing shots.
7. Required information (Name, phone number, email)
8. Optional information (PhotoPass Card ID, Order Number, MagicBand or MagicMobile pass ID)
I recommend completing a separate report for each attraction photo so you can be as specific as possible with the information listed above. In my experience, missing photos automagically appear in your Disney PhotoPass account within ten days. Most recently, I submitted a missing photos report on November 3 and received an email saying my photos were found on November 11. Disney magic at its finest!
You can also call and speak to a Disney PhotoPass Cast Member at (407) 560-4300. I'm sending happy thoughts that all of your missing attraction photos will be recovered. Please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney with any other questions.
With faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Jennifer
