Hey April!
Welcome to planDisney. I am so excited about your Holiday trip to Walt Disney World Resort. The Holidays are extra magical in my opinion and are the best place for experiencing chEAR! I highly suggest adding the
Holiday After Hours Event to your itinerary. Nothing says Happy Holidays like snow on Main Street, U.S.A., yummy snacks, and Santa Clause on a cavalcade. I have attended twice, and it is always the highlight of my year. The dates and prices have not yet been announced but keep an eye out on
Disney Parks Blog so you can secure spots when tickets go on sale. I would highly suggest adding that to your itinerary. If you would love more information about this, I could talk about it all day.
Now about your park tickets, there was an option to receive your tickets via mail during the checkout process. Since it was not selected at checkout, if you want a physical ticket card, you will need to pick those up at either Guest Relations at Disney Springs or a ticket counter at one of the theme parks. If you don’t want to stop at a ticket counter before your park days, you can also utilize Disney MagicMobile or MagicBands instead of physical ticket cards.
MagicMobileWith
MagicMobile, you can turn your mobile device into your ticket! It is a more contactless option for entry to Walt Disney World Resort, and since you likely always have your phone with you, it is easy to keep track of (just make sure to bring a portable charging bank so that your phone stays charged all day). My favorite part about it is that I no longer have to wear both my Apple Watch and a MagicBand simultaneously. You can add it through the
My Disney Experience mobile app if you like this option.
1. Once you open the app, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner.
2. Select the Disney MagicMobile tile on the menu.
3. Link your already purchased tickets to the Disney MagicMobile pass
4. Customize your MagicMobile Pass with your favorite image, and you are ready to go.
Note: Make sure that every member of your party is either linked through your device or their individual devices so that everyone can have a MagicMobile pass.
MagicBandThere are so many options for
MagicBands; they can serve as both accessories and a souvenir of your trip. With a MagicBand, you do not need a physical ticket to enter the park; it is all on your wrist. Also, with
MagicBand+ coming soon, you can do so many other cool things you will soon be able to do besides house your ticket. If you prefer this option, all you need to do is make sure that your tickets and your MagicBand are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Once this is done, you can head to the turnstiles and tap your MagicBand to enter the theme park you have reserved for the day.
I hope one of these options works best for you!
If there is anything else, I can answer, please reach out to planDisney.
Happy Planning,
