I don't remember having a limit of one one time per ride per day with genie plus. Is this new?

Hi Melissa, welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to answer your question about the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, formerly called Genie+. Lightning Lanes are a great way to maximize your day at the Disneyland Resort, with access to shorter lines at many attractions.

The Lighting Lane Multi Pass (formerly Genie+) has always had a limit of one ride per attraction each day. If you are using a Park Hopper ticket or Magic Key Pass, your Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be used in both parks! And of course, you can use the standby queue to ride your favorite attractions as many times as your plans allow.

My tip is to be inside the park right when it opens, also known as rope drop. It's my favorite time of day to visit, and one of the reasons is because the queues are typically shorter for many attractions compared to other times of day. The early bird gets the worm, right?  I also suggest using the Attractions feature in the Disneyland Mobile App to check the current wait times. You just might be pleasantly surprised by a shorter than expected wait time.

One other perk to the Lightning Lane Multi Pass is unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from your day. Make sure to get a photo in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and photos with Mickey Mouse and his pals at Town Square!

I hope this is helpful, Melissa. If you have any other questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know!

Wishing you the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth,
