Hi, I don't want to rely on phones for resort/park entry but my 3year old doesn't have a magic band that I can find will the hotel issue her a complimentary ticket card to enter the parks? Or can I reassign one of my old magic bands to her?

    Hi Stephanie!

I’m so excited to see that you are bringing your little princess to Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to have a fantastic time exploring the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs with her. Plus, have you seen that traditional Character Experiences have started to return, allowing Characters to give hugs and autographs to Guests?

Your little one will still be able to enjoy an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation, even if your daughter doesn't have a MagicBand. Unfortunately, MagicBands are non-transferrable once they have been linked to a My Disney Experience account, so you are unable to reassign one of your old MagicBands to her. However, you can visit the front desk of your Disney Resort to get a ticket card for your daughter at no cost, which will give her access to her theme park ticket and Lightning Lane reservations. You can also visit Guest Relations at any of the theme parks to pick up a ticket card for her.

Stephanie, as you finalize your vacation plans, I recommend that you follow the Disney Parks Blog to get announcements about all of the magic you can experience during your trip. Also, feel free to come back to see us if we can help you again as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
