I don’t quite understand the parking information. If booking a 7 day pkg do I have to pay for parking at the parks? I read contradictory answers. Some say parking is free.

Hey there, Brenda. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm sorry that you've been finding some contradictory information out there, but you've come to the right place. I think you'll be happy to know that as a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you receive complimentary standard parking at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Water Parks and at Disney Springs. When you arrive at the parks via your car, you'll be stopped at the entrance gates. The Cast Member working will scan your MagicBand to verify your existing resort reservation and then you'll be on your way. If you'd like to upgrade to preferred parking, you'll only need to pay the upgraded amount. Keep in mind that as a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest you are also able to take advantage of the complimentary transportation that takes you all around the Walt Disney World property. Depending on which Resort Hotel you are staying at you'll have access to buses, boats, monorails and even the new skyliner coming this fall. It's so nice to park your car and leave all of your cares behind and be whisked away to the magic! I highly recommend getting around this way!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion regarding parking while you are on vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask.  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
