    If we don't purchase the $200 photopass, will the photographers still take "magic" photos? Do we have to option to purchase only the photos we want, instead of the photo CD?

    Hi, Laura!

    The PhotoPass Photographers take all kinds of photos, including the Magic Shots, whether or not you've pre-purchased the PhotoPass+ or PhotoCD. I always like to ask the photographers if they have the ability to take a Magic Shot for us if they don't automatically offer. Different photographers have different capabilities, so it always pays to ask!

    When you pre-purchase the PhotoPass+ or PhotoCD at least 14 days prior to your vacation, the savings is fabulous when you consider that buying the digital rights to just one of your PhotoPass photos is currently $14.95. You absolutely have the option to purchase only the photos you want after you return home from your vacation. You'll simply enter your PhotoPass card numbers into the Disney PhotoPass website and you'll be given the pricing information. Making your decision ahead of your vacation will just save you quite a bit of money if you think you'll want more than 10 of the pictures since the pre-order price is just $149 for Disney's PhotoPass+.
