I don't want to purchase a dining plan since my son is the pickiest eater on the planet. Since I am not renting a car, are there any fast food type restaurants around the resorts where I can just grab things for breakfast and lunch to pack with us?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Every Walt Disney World Resort hotel offers a small convenience store on-site, which sells a wide variety of pre-packaged grocery items: cereal, crackers, etc.. More recently, refrigerated cases have been added to offer fruits and other fresh items; this is particularly true of Value and Moderate Resorts with food court dining options.

Downtown Disney - accessible by Disney motorcoach transportation - has some restaurants that you might consider options for takeout. A full list can be found on the official Downtown Disney Web site.

Also on Walt Disney World property - but not part of the motorcoach loops - are a couple of gas stations featuring traditional "mini marts," and a McDonald's. For these options, you'll need to hire a taxi, a fairly inexpensive option, and readily available at your Resort hotel.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
