Hi Angela!
I am a huge fan of
Disney's PhotoPass Service! I love how my entire family can be together in the same picture throughout all of our Walt Disney World vacation photos plus the PhotoPass photographers take some amazing shots! Some even include "magic shots" where a little surprise is added to your photo after the photo is taken.
You can certainly take all the photos you'd like using PhotoPass while you are on vacation even if you don't have
Memory Maker purchased. If you will be using a
MagicBand, you can have each photographer scan your MagicBand, which will link the photos right to your My Disney Experience account. If you don't have a MagicBand, ask the first photographer you see for a PhotoPass card. You'll use this card each time you have a photo taken and you can add the card to your My Disney Experience account to link your photos as well.
The easiest way to view your photos while you are on vacation is through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You'll see an option to link or view photos about halfway down the homepage on the app. If you haven't pre-purchased Memory Maker, all of your photos will have a watermark across them.
Single photo purchases can be made as a digital download for currently just under $20 per photo. The current cost for pre-purchasing Memory Maker is $169 if done more than 3 days prior to your vacation. (Prices are subject to change at any time.) When we visit Walt Disney World, I make sure we hit as many PhotoPass spots as we can, so we will come home with hundreds of photos to sort through in our PhotoPass account. Some of my favorite photos are those with props, like a big photo frame or a sign to hold. Memory Maker also includes photos taken on attractions. There is no shortage of PhotoPass opportunities throughout Walt Disney World!
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Get ready to say cheese!
