Hey There, Lisa!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. Can you believe that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is less than 60 days away? After all that planning and patience, the time has almost arrived for you to enjoy all the magic of The Most Magical Place on Earth –– you must be getting so excited! With your arrival approaching, now is the perfect time to finalize any last-minute planning details like booking
advance dining reservations or making your theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system. Over the last few months, Disney Park Pass availability has been filling up quickly, so I definitely recommend making those reservations as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so. That way, you'll be ready to hit the ground running as soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort!
As a mom of small kids, I love that the
My Disney Experience mobile app gives me the option to download Disney MagicMobile passes for each of my children. That way, in the event a MagicBand happens to be lost on an airplane or left in the room (believe me, I speak from experience), we always have a backup way to access their tickets. But in order to create a
Disney MagicMobile pass for each member of your party, you'll need to create those passes for each person, individually. Since it sounds like you've already done the most important part –– linking each person and their ticket in your Friends & Family List –– let me walk you through the steps of creating passes for other members of your group:
1. Sign in to the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner.
2. Select Disney MagicMobile from the onscreen menu and tap the blue "+" sign in the top right corner.
3. From the list on the next screen, select all the people you'll be creating passes for (you can do this all at once).
4. Tap "Add to Wallet" at the bottom of the screen and continue following the onscreen prompts to finalize and save your passes.
And that's all there is to it! The passes you created for each member of your party should be saved in your smartphone's digital wallet. After these passes have been created, you'll also have the option to share them via text message with members of your party. I love this feature because other Guests can use it, even if they aren't using the My Disney Experience mobile app. To do this, return to the Disney MagicMobile screen and tap "Select Passes to Share". After selecting the passes you'd like to share, tap "Share via Messages" to send the pass in a text message. From there, each member of your party will be able to open the text and save the pass to their own digital wallet. It's easy and convenient –– just the way a perfect vacation should be! If you're still having trouble accessing the passes after trying the steps above, I recommend reaching out to the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ line at (407) 939-4357. These Cast Members are pros at tech troubleshooting and they'll be happy to help you with any other issues you might be having.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Lisa. I hope this helped to answer your question, but please don't hesitate to stop by again if you think of something new –– we're always happy to help!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
