Welcome to planDisney. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a must whenever we visit Walt Disney World. We really love how it lets us pre-book our favorite experiences, so we can plan our day ahead of time.
I have great news for you. You can absolutely purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi/Single Pass for a park you will visit later in the day. From the home screen of the
My Disney Experience app, tap on the Purchase button, choose your date, and then the second park you would like to visit that day. Next, you will add any additional persons to your party and choose your 3 experiences. The next screen will show your times for these experiences. This is where you can tap the Modify Time button and choose times based on when you expect to be at the park, and then finalize your choices. Remember that you will need to scan in for your first scheduled experience before you can book another. If your schedule changes, though, you can go to your experiences list and see what times are available to adjust to. If you do not see a time that works, I would encourage you to keep refreshing your screen, as guests quite frequently change their plans, and you can grab it once it’s available.
Now that you have your Lightning Lanes all taken care of, you can save even more time during your visit by taking advantage of two of my favorite features in the My Disney Experience app. The first is Mobile Ordering for your quick-service dining options. I love how I can order our food ahead of time and even schedule the pickup time. The second is mobile checkout at select merchandise locations. The last time we were at the
Emporium at the Magic Kingdom, we were able to get our merchandise, scan each item in the app, and quickly verify our purchases at the mobile checkout station, saving us valuable time.
