Hi Craig,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!
With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, your dining plan credits will expire at midnight on your resort hotel check-out day. We love the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan and never have meal credits remaining when we leave. We do, however, always save enough meal credits to eat breakfast or lunch before we head back to the airport to catch our departing flight.
Since the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan offers three meals per person per night of stay, we generally eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. We prefer table-service meals for every meal. Occasionally, we dine at a signature restaurant. On those days, we do a late breakfast and then dinner.
Craig, as you think about your trip, be sure to make
dining reservations. Restaurants fill quickly, especially for character meals. One of my favorite new restaurants,
The Edison, is at Disney Springs. It truly looks like an inventor's workshop on the inside. The food was delicious and the entertainment was quite fun! While there, be sure to check out one of my other favorite restaurants,
STK Orlando. The views from the outdoor patio are just lovely.
Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
