We don't want to leave our girls are the kids clubs since we want to enjoy the cruise with them. Can we enjoy the activities with them instead? Thank you!

    Hi, Andrew!

I certainly understand wanting to spend your vacation together as a family. You are welcome to join in on any events and activities at Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab with your children.

At the nurseries, there are "acclimation areas" for parents to drop off their babies or toddlers, but parents aren't encouraged to stick around there since it's difficult to manage expectations for the littlest ones. Of course, parents are not discouraged by the counselors from making appearances at the tween club, Edge, and the teen club, Vibe. Yet, the kids themselves will make you feel quite awkward if you dip into those spaces!

On our first Disney cruise, I was somewhat apprehensive about leaving my children in the care of someone else.  However, after speaking with the counselors, seeing the spaces, understanding the safety and security procedures and even experiencing some of the activities myself -- I can most assuredly tell you that I have no reservations about my kids spending time alone in the youth spaces on Disney ships. In fact, I love that we can enjoy our times on the ship separately and together, and it makes me feel refreshed after enjoying a spa treatment or a dinner alone with my husband. There is much to do throughout the ship for each age group -- individually or as a family.

I hope this helps you plan and gets you even more excited about your upcoming voyage. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
