Hi Zach,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds as if you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Understandably, budgeting is very important when planning your visit. Since rates can fluctuate depending on the dates of your visit, I suggest you check the
Special Offers and see if there are any applicable to the dates of your visit. Then, do some comparison pricing for
vacation packages for the dates of your visit.
When I do my initial pricing, I am typically searching for a specific
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but I want to see if I can get a better price at a comparable resort hotel. In my past experience, Disney's All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports Resorts have been most affordable, but I also stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort recently and I loved having access to the
Disney Skyliner. So, although I paid a little more than one of the All-Star Resorts, having access to Disney Skyliner transportation in addition to
Walt Disney World® Bus Service was quite wonderful.
Zach, as you preview resort hotels, consider what amenities you prefer.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort also has standard rooms that are more affordable than some other resort hotels. And it also has access to the Disney Skyliner. Rooms do get booked, so I strongly encourage you to put a deposit down on that vacation package as soon as possible! I hope this helps you get started.
Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
