Hello I don’t know if this has been asked before but my baby asked everyone in the family for Disney gift cards so we can plan a trip for her birthday however if 20 ppl give gift cards of assorted amounts will I be able to check out for animal kingdom?

    Hiya Jalaynee,

Welcome to planDisney! First off, a very Happy early Birthday to your daughter! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of my favorite Theme Parks to visit, and I know it will be a memorable place to spend her birthday!

Disney Gift Cards are a great way to pay for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and an excellent gift for a birthday girl. They can be used for Theme Park tickets, Mobile Orders, Enchanting Extras, Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel reservations, and merchandise. Since your daughter has so many Disney Gift Cards, I recommend that she combine them onto one card. The Walt Disney World Resort website doesn’t allow you to make purchases using multiple Disney Gift Cards, so this is the only way to pay for purchases that exceed the cost of one gift card. Combining multiple Disney Gift Cards using the Disney Gift Card Website is simple and ideal for your situation.

    To Combine Disney Gift Cards:

    1. Log onto the Disney Gift Card website using your login for My Disney Experience.
    2. Click “My Cards.”
    3. Add each Disney Gift Card using the card numbers on the back (you will need to scratch off to reveal the entire card number).
    4. Once you have entered all 20 cards, select one of the Disney Gift Cards to transfer all the other balances to (up to $1,000 total).
    5. Transfer the balances to that card and toss the empty cards (be sure to draw some Mickey Mouse Ears or write your daughter’s name on the back of that Disney Gift Card so you can identify which one has the $1,000 balance on it).

Bibbidi bobbidi boo, you are ready to purchase your Theme Park tickets for Disney’s Animal Kingdom! I hope this was helpful, Jalaynee!

One last thing, don’t forget that after you purchase your Theme Park tickets, you will need to make a Disney Park Pass Reservation for Disney's Animal Kingdom; without it, you will be unable to enter the Theme Park.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
