Hi there, Bruno!
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is still running at
Epcot, currently expected to run through the summer of 2019. A
brand new nighttime fireworks spectacular is set to replace it around that time.
A
FastPass+ for the show gives you access to an exclusive area set up only to accommodate guests using FastPass+ to see the show. On a crowded night, especially during the holidays or spring break, this can be a great use of a FastPass+ selection. You can be off doing other things, and turn up literally five minutes prior to the show and know you have a darned good view of Illuminations. There's no need to stake out a spot ahead of time.
If there's not a huge crowd, you likely won't have much trouble finding some space along the fence in the World Showcase, even if you don't claim a spot well in advance. If you're like my family, we are usually winding down our Epcot day, so we don't mind grabbing a snack or a cold drink and waiting in our chosen spot for half an hour before show time.
Keep checking the
park hours calendar for updated times for Illuminations for your upcoming trip. And if you get a chance to see this great show before it makes its departure, absolutely do!
Thanks for your question, Bruno.
Anna
