If you don't have a hard ticket for MVMCP, and were in the park during the day, what can't you do at MK during that time? Could we shop on Main Street? I know we couldn't ride anything. Thanks!

Hello Tawn! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun event, and if you haven't already, I would suggest purchasing a ticket. We are going this December on a trip and made sure to get tickets because we enjoy it so much. There is just nothing like seeing it snow on Main Street U.S.A while enjoying a cup of Hot Chocolate. The festive decorations and the Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle always put me in the holiday spirit.

On Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights the park closes for regular day guests at 7 PM. This means that if you do not have an event ticket you have to leave the park. There are attendants that check for the wristbands throughout the night until special event closing at 12 AM. If you do not plan on attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I still think that spending the day at Magic Kingdom is a good idea because crowd levels are lower on event days since the park closes earlier.

There are many things to do at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party like special meet and greets, Holiday Wishes, and Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. If you are interested, you can check out the Special Event Tickets page for more information.

If you need anything else please stop by. Have a magical holiday vacation!
