Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Rebecca. It's always fun to see a fellow North Carolinian stop by to chit-chat about an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
Rebecca, were you able to get a reservation for dinner at the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue? I am so excited for you. It is a rootin'-tootin' good time. Plus Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is so much fun in itself. When you go for dinner, try to arrive a little earlier than you originally planned and you can stop by
Tri-Circle-D Ranch and maybe get a peek at Cinderella's horses that live there. It's a beautiful facility.
To get from
Disney's Pop Century Resort over to The Fort without taking the boat, you have plenty of options. Disney's Pop Century Resort is located close to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Whichever bus shows up first, hop on. Once you are at a theme park, switch buses to the one marked for Disney's Fort Wilderness and you'll be on your way. Once you get to the campground by bus, you will need to switch lines again to the internal shuttle. The theme park busses don't always go back to The Settlement area where the restaurant is located. If you go by busses, I'd say it will take probably around 45 minutes but I would plan on giving yourself a full hour. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for the next theme park bus to come around if you just missed one.
The other option you have, Rebecca, is to use a rideshare service. This is going to cut down on your travel time immensely. Of course, it is an added expense but I use rideshare services a lot when I am going from resort to resort and I don't think it's that pricey at all. The rideshare will be able to pick you up right in front of the lobby at Disney's Pop Century Resort and take you all the way back to The Settlement area where the restaurant is located. It's quick and convenient which is why I recommend it.
I hope this helps you find your way over to The Fort, Rebecca. If you have any other questions about this, please feel free to
reach back out to me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
