What should I do if I don't finish the credits on my dining plan? Can I exchange them for candy? How many candy per quick service? What if it is Table service?

Hi there, Pilar, and welcome back to planDisney! I am so happy that you're here with this great question today! As you know, my Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests plan unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Pilar, I am so glad that you're going to use a dining plan during your visit. I love dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort! If you've used a dining plan in the past, you'll recall that there was some flexibility in exchanging quick-service meals for snacks. In 2024, the dining plans do not allow for an exchange of meals or snacks. You'll want to plan enough meals to use all of your meals and snacks as they're issued. Remember that some dining experiences, like Cinderella's Royal Table, require two table service meals per person, so you might consider a table service meal that actually requires more than one meal if you don't think you'll be able to use all of your meals before you head back home.

Your meals and snacks don't expire until midnight on the day you check out. Whenever I have leftover snacks, I head to a gift shop and look for drinks and packable candy that I can bring home with me. It's a good way to make sure I get all of the value from my dining plan!

Pilar, I hope this is helpful to you as you prepare for your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you count down to your arrival!

    See you real soon!
