Hi there, Wendy, and welcome back to planDisney!
Whenever I visit Walt Disney World Resort I always feel as if I've entered my personal Neverland, a place where I never have to grow up and adult responsibilities can't reach me. One of my favorite ways to evade real-world responsibilities during a magical vacation is by spending time at one of
EPCOT's annual festivals. In fact, EPCOT is currently celebrating its
International Flower & Garden Festival which happens to be my favorite of them all. I've already visited three times!
As you hop between festival kiosks (whether it is the
Outdoor Kitchens of Flower & Garden or the
Global Marketplaces at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival) I've found the most convenient methods of payment are the
mini festival-themed gift cards that are attached to a wristlet so that you never have to worry about digging through your park bag each time you see an item you'd like to try. Happily, the convenience doesn't just lie in their Festival purchasing power, these handy cards can be purchased at merchandise locations and festival markets throughout EPCOT and are a valid form of payment at any location that accepts Disney Gift Cards.
While you're enjoying EPCOT I hope you'll stop by what I consider to be one of the most underrated attractions The Most Magical Place on Earth has to offer,
Living with the Land. I have found that even the most thrill-seeking Mouseketeers are surprised to discover how much they enjoy this relaxing cruise through EPCOT's greenhouses. After all, it's beautiful, educational, and a well-deserved respite for weary legs featuring air conditioning and low wait times. If you discover that you love it as much as my family does, I encourage you to consider checking out the
Behind the Seeds Tour, an affordable option from the
Enchanting Extras Collection that provides Guests with a backstage look (and taste) into all that goes into Walt Disney World Resort agri(and aqua)culture.
I hope this was helpful, Wendy, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with tasty festival treats. If you have any additional questions or are looking for recommendations, don't hesitate to stop back by.
I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
