If I don’t use all my days on a ticket can it be transferred toward next year ?

Hey Howdy Hey Shane and welcome to planDisney!

I bet you are getting super excited about your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth really soon! There is so much to look forward to experiencing during your upcoming trip like taking a trip to the Grid on TRON Lightcyle / Run in Magic Kingdom. Thank you for stopping by with your question on Theme Park Ticket availability. I will be happy to give you more information on the specifics.

I am happy to report that in most cases, the price that was paid for Theme Park Tickets will be honored for any unused park days to the purchase of tickets at a later date. If you do find yourself with unused tickets, you can upgrade them through your My Disney Experience account or by calling Disney and speaking with a Cast member.

Depending on when you want to visit the Walt Disney World Resort again, you may be able to apply the value of your current tickets to a later date. Once you log in, go to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section of your My Disney Experience account and click on the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker". You should see the tickets and members of your party they are assigned to and the current number of unused days. Under each Guest, you should also see a blue hyperlink to "Modify Tickets". If you click on this link, follow the prompts to select a new date. As long as the date is available, you will be prompted on any differences between the value of your tickets and the cost of the new dates. You will have to pay the difference at the time of making your changes. All Theme Park tickets do come with an expiration date and at times, when this date has passed, you may not find your tickets on your My Disney Experience account. That's when a call to Disney comes into play!

For expired tickets or general help with the purchase of new tickets, you can feel free to give Disney a call. A Cast Member will be able to see any expired tickets and unused tickets as well as their value to apply to the purchase of new tickets. They will take care of making the upgrades for you but you will be responsible for any difference between the cost of your new tickets and the value of your current ones.

I hope this helps clear up your options with any unused Theme Park tickets. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
