I don’t want to buy a ticket unless I know the day I want to go is available...

    Hey there, Faith!

It's great to see you here at planDisney! It's also really great to see that you're thinking through your plans by wanting to get more information about theme park reservation availability.

I think you're on the right track by checking for park reservations before purchasing your theme park tickets. You can check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and take a look at available reservations by date and by theme park. When you look at the calendar, you'll notice that you can see reservation availability for two types of tickets -- 1 Park Per Day Tickets and Park Hopper Tickets. The Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar will show you if reservations are available for Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, both parks, or neither park.

After you check theme park reservation availability, you can purchase your theme park tickets and then make your theme park reservations through the Theme Park Reservations system. One note to keep in mind is that you would want to complete the whole process quickly, as reservation availability can change until your reservation is confirmed.

Faith, I hope you have a wonderful time visiting Disneyland Resort and enjoying the magic of the theme parks.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
