We don't want to buy Magic Bands and have people in our party that don't have phones. Is getting the plastic card the only ticket option for them? Also, is the card how they would gain entrance to rides if we purchase Genie+ for them?

    Hi Ruth! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm thrilled to hear that you will be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days. Christmas is my absolute favorite and combining it with the Walt Disney World Resort is dreamy! Make sure to have your camera ready for all the photo opportunities that you'll find with the decorations around the theme parks.

While I'm a big fan of MagicBands for the convenience they offer, they are not necessary or required for getting around the theme parks. You also don't have to use your phone for Walt Disney World theme park tickets. The admission cards that you mentioned will be the ticket your non-digital party members will need for entry into the theme parks, as well as entrance to the queues for Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane purchases.

To get your cards, you can stop by any Walt Disney World theme park ticket booth. You can also stop by the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs if you will be arriving earlier than you will visit the theme parks. Bring your photo ID and credit card that you used to purchase the tickets with you.

I hope this helps, Ruth! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
